Alberta Angeline (Lembo) Crispeno, 98, of Conway passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Lembo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen C. Crispeno Sr., siblings, Richard Lembo, and Mary Lou Lembo-Ferrante. Surviving are her children, Michael (Donna) Crispeno Sr., Kevin C. (Karen) Crispeno, Carmen C. (Kimberly) Crispeno Jr., grandchildren, Michael (Alyssa) Jr., Brian (Gisell), Annette (Michael), Kelsey, Cameron, Colby Crispeno, Erick (Trina) and Todd (Desiree) Dixon, great grandchildren, Michael lII and Hanna Crispeno, Alyssa Kovach, and many nieces and nephews.
Alberta worked as a draftswoman for the American Bridge Company. She went on to be the bookkeeper for the C & A Superette in Conway, Esso and Ashland gas stations in Freedom. She was an avid bowler serving as the treasurer for her bowling league. Alberta was a devout member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Conway, and was a member of the Christian Mothers. She will always be remembered for her famous chocolate chip cookies and nut rolls. In her spare time, she enjoyed testing her luck at the casino playing slots. She loved her family and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4-7 PM in the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549. A blessing service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Sewickley Twp.
