Alford Rudolph Hacker Jr., 79, passed away unexpectedly in his residence on September 8, 2022.
Born October 5, 1942, he was the son of Alford Sr. and Mary (McCormack) Hacker, who preceded him in death.
An only child, he is survived by many cousins and friends.
He was a graduate of Ambridge High School, and was a former employee of Michael Baker Corporation and The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, CA. He resided in Palm Springs, CA for several years before returning to Beaver County.
Ford had a passion for country and gospel music and especially loved playing his guitar and entertaining. He was easily recognized by his red hair and sport coat. He often played at the Uncommon Ground in Aliquippa. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Nashville, and easily made friends anywhere he went.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11 AM at St. Stephens Anglican Church, Sewickley, PA.
