Charles J. Eskew, 91, of Freedom passed away on May 29, 2023. He was the son of the late George and Margaret Eskew. He proudly served in the the United States Navy in Korea. He worked at J&L as a security guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joanne Eskew, a son, Dennis Eskew, brother, William Eskew, and sister, Lela Tenney. He is survived by his daughters, Denise Lamia and Kimberly (Mike) Goehring, and daughter in law, Barb Eskew, and several grand children and great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery Chapel at 10:30 am on Friday June 2, 2023 officiated by Pastor Jill McGregor. Burial will follow at Economy Cemetery. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice, Buter VA, Liken Private Care, Comfort Care, and Home Intead for their excellent compassion and care.
