Darvin Wilson Obituary

Darvin Wilson, 82, passed away March 24,2023, under the care of Wexford Health Care Center and Sun Crest Hospice.

Darvin was born in West Virginia on April 8, 1940, to James “Willis” and Juanita (Kirk) Wilson.  He is survived by daughters Cheryl (David) Zehnder and Carolyn (Michael) Hrusko, granddaughters Rachelle and Danielle Zehnder, a sister, Diane (Ronald) Zikovich , special cousin Doyne (Evelyn) Lewis along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Darvin was also preceded in death by an infant son, George, a very special aunt, Genevieve Lewis, and a special cousin Bill Lewis. 

Darvin returned to his home midlife and spent some of his happiest times there reuniting with his family and friends. He especially loved the outdoors. Some of his best times were had staying at the family camp while hunting, fishing and riding ATVs.  Friends will be received on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 2-4 pm in the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 547 8th Street Ambridge,. 

Darvin was a caring person and was willing to help anyone who was in need.  He was very loved and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wexford Health Care, especially his nurse, Jeralyn, who took such good care of him.
