Debbie Jellison

Debra Kay (Matthias) Jellison went home to her beloved family on March 12th, 2025. She is survived in death by her son, Christopher Myler, daughter-in-law, Tiffany, grandson, Trent, and her brothers Gary (Betty) Westfall, Roger Westfall, and Mark Mitchell, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her late husband, Jan Jellison, her mother and father, Edith (Lucille) and Dale Westfall, as well as, her son Michael Matthias, Jr.

Debbie grew up in the formerly vibrant industrial center of Ambridge, PA. Her father was a mill worker, and her mother was a hotel manager. At 18, she left Pennsylvania for New York City, taking a secretarial position in the New York Coast Guard where she met her first husband. After the birth of her son Christopher, she went to college where she finished her Nursing degree and worked in the geriatric community until her disabilities forced her to retire in the 2010s.

Her friends knew her as someone with strong boundaries, a love of games of chance, and a dog lover. Her remains will be interred at Resurrection Cemetery in Moon Township, PA next to her beloved husband.
