Earl L. Zehnder

92, a long time resident of Economy Borough passed away on April 26, 2022 at home. He was the son of the late Edward and Sophia Marie (Amsler) Zehnder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Mihalow) Zehnder, a daughter, Carolyn Niznik, two brothers, James and Herbert Zehnder. Surviving are his son, David (Cheryl) Zehnder, son-in-law, Dean Niznik, granddaughters, Erica Niznik, Rachelle and Danielle Zehnder, great grandson, Austin Niznik, and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and sister in laws, Evelyn, Marie, and Patty. Earl worked many years for Armco Steel. He loved gardening, but will always be remembered for helping out his neighbors. Services are private.
