Obituary
Elmer “E” H. Schell, 73, of Conway, a true American hero passed away on Memorial Day, May 29, 2023. He was the son of the late Elmer W. and Catherine Schell. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Patricia Hilderbrand. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susanne Schell, his children Shannon (Ray Brooks) Schell, Maegan Schell, Brandon Schell, grandchildren Alysa, Derek (Mackenzie), Gina, Kiley, Tyler, and great grandchild, Harper. Elmer was a proud veteran serving his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Postal Clerk from the United States Postal Service. Elmer was a member of the Conway Croatian Club, Conway VWF, and the Baden American Legion. He was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan and enjoyed coaching Economy Girls Softball and A.B.E. soccer. Burial will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017, on Wednesday June 14, 2023 at 2:00 PM with full veterans honors.
