Evelyn M. Smiley, 72, of New Brighton, passed away on April 10, 2026. She was the beloved daughter of the late David Sr. and Marjorie Eaton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving spouse, George Tinklepaugh, and her brothers, Michael Eaton and Ronald Eaton.
She is survived by her children, Melissa Ball, Shelby Tinklepaugh, and William Smiley; her siblings, Robin Podeswik, Kathy Salsgiver, Alice Stone, Helen Eaton, David Eaton, and James Eaton; her cherished grandchildren, Ronald (Ashley) Hogue, David (Taylor) Ball, and Taylor (Paul) Lester; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Trenton, Rylee, and Abilene. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Evelyn worked for many years as a bartender and was also employed at the former Geriatric Center in Beaver. She found joy in cooking and gardening, but her greatest happiness came from her family. She especially treasured watching her grandchildren grow.
