Baden - 71, passed away on October 26, 2021, surrounded by his family. Born in Ambridge he was the son of the late Charles and Isabell Davis. Gib worked for Pittsburgh Forging for 25 years then went on to work for Ambridge School District and Quigley Catholic School, finally retiring from Walmart. He enjoyed bowling, hunting , fishing, and camping at his campground "Hearts Content". In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Gilbert Davis Jr. and a grandson, Rasan J.G.D. Washington. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Linda Davis, children, Stacey Washington, Virginia Beach, Shawna (Teddy Grannis) Holsinger, Ambridge, Megan (Deauntae) Clark, Ambridge, 11 grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Renee, Ayreonna, Tara, Jalin, Dakota (his buddy), Teeghan, Kyler, Kayden, Kenny, 4 great grandchildren, Caramia, Jayce, Julian, Isabell (Izzy), siblings, William (Glema) Davis, Stockton, California, Bonna Bennett, and Sue (Dave) Erickson-Turner, both of Tampa, Florida. Friends will be received on Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 2 pm to 6 pm, in The Kasper Chapel of Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, from 10 am till time of funeral service at 11am, at New Hope Community Church, 529 Beaver Road, Ambridge, officiated by Pastor Rick Thornhill and Pastor Tom Smith of Everette, PA. The family would like to thank nurses Danielle and Faith from UPMC Passavant for there compassionate care.
