Gilda DeFerrari

 Gilda DeSena DeFerrari was born in 1926 to Angelo and Raffaela Manzi DeSena in Aliquippa and passed away onJanuary 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert DeFerrari, and siblings Paul DeSena, Louis DeSena, Anne Young Cali and Margaret Otto and niece Joyce Otto and nephew Paul DeSena. She is survived by five children including Emily, Gina, Tom, and Annette DeFerrari, her grandchildren Rosa DeFerrari and Josh Hicks, two great grandchildren, her sister-in-law Mary DeFerrari and nieces and nephews Jerry DeSena, Rhoda Bubien, Betty Otto, Marsha Hilfinger, Nancy Marcucci, Joanne Bryk, Joseph, Nancy and Patty DeFerrari, Mary Leitao, and Cathy McCurry. She graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1944 and from Geneva College in 1948. She taught science at Aliquippa High School. Family and friends are welcome to gather in the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday February 1, 2023. Memorial contributions may be made in Gilda’s name to the B.F. Jones Memorial Library, 663 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
