Joe Dolinski, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children on March 29, 2023, in his home in Ambridge. A long-time resident of Ambridge, PA, Joe graduated from Geneva College with an engineering degree, entered the field of education and worked in the Ambridge Area School District for over 35 years. Prior to his college education, he served in the US Army and was a Korean War veteran. Joe was a die-hard Steeler fan and loved to watch football and other sports with his family. He loved family vacations on the shore and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Sandra Sichak Dolinski; children Kris Dolinski Hudson, Kara Dolinski and her husband, John Matese, and Joel Dolinski and his wife Anne Bernardin Dolinski; grandchildren Jordan Frantz, Jack Hudson, Sarah Hudson, Joe Dolinski, Nick Matese, and Kate Dolinski; and his nieces and nephews, John and Mindy Danko, George and Colleen Prokopik, Mary Kay and Jerry Guzik, Ruth and Tom Zola, and Robert and Leslie Prokopik, Kathi Prokopik, Jay Saludis William and Lisa Saludis.Thank you to Cari Burns, the Concordia Nurses, and the Good Samaritan Hospice for providing kind and compassionate service during the end of Joe’s life. Friends will be received on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2-5 pm in the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, Inc., 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549. A funeral mass will be held at Saint Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 404 6th St, Ambridge, at 10:00 am on Monday, April 3, 2023. Burial will follow at Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery, Economy.
