Marianne Spehar Orlowski, 93, of Harmony Township, passed peacefully in her home with loved ones by her side on June 5, 2026.
Born on May 12, 1933, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Sr. She is survived by her four children, Wendy, Bill, Nancy, and James "Jamie," as well as her five grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Billy, Annie, and Bo; and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom she had a loving relationship with.
A graduate of Ambridge High School in 1952, she became a registered nurse, working at Sewickley Hospital and later providing private-duty care to families in the Sewickley area.
She was active in Scouting in the 1970s and early '80s and was an avid crafter and sewer. Later in life, she discovered a passion for making seasonal door and window wreaths by watching YouTube how-to videos, which often involved shopping sprees at Dollar General, Walmart, and various craft stores in the area.
Throughout her late 70s and early 80s, she was actively involved as a "pierogi pincher" at churches in Ambridge. She loved to bake, with her specialty being her famous orange and poppy seed cakes.
While she will be missed by her family and friends, we are comforted to know that she led a healthy, full, and active life right up to the end.
By her request, a private remembrance service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
