Mary F. Kernic

Mary F. Kernic, 72, of Economy, passed away on October 16, 2024. She was the daughter of the late John and Ann Kazlauskas. Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 31 years, John Kernic, as well as her siblings, John Kazlauskas and Joann (Tom) Devins, along with numerous cousins and friends. A graduate of Mars High School, Mary worked as a medical assistant before dedicating herself to hospice care. She was a member of the Archives Group at Good Samaritan . Mary loved walks in nature and discovering waterfalls, arranging flowers, and had a love for cats. Mary cherished her vacations in the Outer Banks with her husband and made many friends throughout her life who will miss her dearly. Friends are invited to gather on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, located at 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549. Departing prayers will take place at the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday, October 21, 2024, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Good Samaritan/Saint Luke Church, 725 Glenwood Avenue, Ambridge.
