Mary Ann Costanza, 90, Harmony Township, passed away peacefully at her home on July 2, 2025.
Born on Halloween day, October 31, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Felici and Ann Bufalini. Mary Ann was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony J. “Tete” Costanza; her sister, Margaret DeLizio; and brothers, Kelly and Richard Bufalini.
She is survived by her loving children: Ken (Stephanie) Costanza, Pam “Tammy” (David) Harsch, and Ron (Lisa) Costanza. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Willie Costanza; sister-in-law, Sherry Costanza; grandchildren, Erica (Katie) Harsch-Colpitts, Nathan (Valeriya) Harsch, Aaron Harsch, Marcus (Julia) Costanza, Ryan (Amanda) Costanza, Kimberly (Evan) Bowles, Jesse (Sophath) Hinh, and Lauren Metcalfe; and great-grandchildren, Vienna, Mia, Briella, Maria, Marco, Elio, Charlotte, and Emmy. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, a special niece, Sandy Bufalini, a cherished friend, Linda Garbini, and caregiver and friend, Desi.
Mary Ann was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. She was a proud member of the Christian Mothers, taught C.C.D. at St. Veronica Church, and was active in the Eagles Nest 1365 Ladies Auxiliary. Known for her vibrant personality, she spoke her mind, loved dressing up and decorating for every holiday, and was especially talented in the kitchen. A masterful baker and gifted cook, she found joy in preparing meals and gathering her family around the table. Even on her final day, she had a meal ready for her loved ones—one last expression of the love she so freely gave.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 5:00–7:00 PM at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge. Departing prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Monday, July 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Luke the Evangelist / Good Samaritan Church, 725 Glenwood Avenue, Ambridge. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hopewell.
