96, passed away at Concordia Villa St. Joseph. He was the son of the late Alex and Rose Spuganich. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alex Spuganich, a sister, Catherine (Ray) Watson, who raised both Michael and Alex since they were young boys. Michael proudly served our country in the United States Navy, and is currently the only surviving veteran of World War II in the surrounding area. He was a supervisor at Armco Steel. Michael was a member of the Baden American Legion for 51 Years. He is survived by his nieces, Shirely (Jack) Bedalota who was his care giver, and Barbara (Mike) Dubich, Morrisville, N.C., daughter, Cheryl Marchionda and family. As per his wishes services were private. Arrangements entrusted to the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services, Ambridge.
