Michelle Dickson, 60, of Baden, PA passed away on April 10, 2026. Daughter of the late William and Bonnie Dickson. Leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family. She built a life centered around those she loved most.
Michelle shared 25 years with her loving partner, Frank Ruskin. Together, they built a large and blended family, raising ten children and cherishing four grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Danelle Suhayda (Todd), Zachory DeCanio, Tighlor DeCanio, Sheylor DeCanio, Teeghon DeCanio (Brittani), Foxxdon DeCanio, Kyleigh (Brad) Peterson, Raeffon Ruskin, Ottovio Ruskin and Lahlena Ruskin. Also her beloved grandchildren London, Obelisk, Appollo and Mercury.
She is also survived by her sister, Jacque (Roger) Brown and her nieces Madison and Amanda Brown. Honorable mention Annette Kucel, along with family and extended family members.
For the past 20 years, Michelle lived her life in a wheelchair, facing each day with resilience and determination. Despite the challenges, she never let anything take away from what mattered most to her, which was a being a mother and a grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the first thing on her mind every morning, what they were doing that day.
Michelle had a deep love for life’s simple joys such as family picnics, lively gatherings and celebrations filled with laughter. If Michelle was involved, you could be sure the event would be something special, as she always went above and beyond to make it memorable for everyone. She also loved traveling and experiencing the world, whether through road trips, going on cruises, ocean views, camping or amusement parks.
She also had a big heart for others, especially those less fortunate. No matter her own circumstances, Michelle would always find a way to give to those in need. Offering kindness and compassion to anyone she encountered.
In accordance with Michelle’s wishes, there will be no traditional funeral. Instead, her family will be planning a Celebration of Life in her honor at a later date, just as she would have wanted, bringing people together to remember her with love, laughter, and joy.
Michelle will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her fierce love, her generous spirit and the way she made life brighter for everyone who knew her.
