Nancy J. Shymoniak

Nancy J. Shymoniak, Harmony Twp. - 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 13, 2024. She was the daughter of the late John M. Sr. and Mary Holinchak Szuchy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John M. Szuchy Jr., Eleanor Szuchy, Margaret (Joseph) Fecko, Robert (Shirley) Szuchy, Helen Szuchy, Albert Szuchy, Mary Ann (John) Godovchik, Francis (Charles) Hall, George Szuchy, Frank (Linda) Szuchy.

She was a graduate of Ambridge Area High School Class of 1968. She went on to attend Pittsburgh Beauty Academy becoming a licensed cosmetologist. Nancy retired as a habilitation aide at Allegheny Valley School.  She was a loving wife, mother, and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially liked riding roller coasters at many amusement parks with her husband and son. 

 She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Michael Shymoniak, son, Jason Shymoniak, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Patricia (Chris) Nassief, Richard (Vera) Shymoniak, Ronald (Cheryl) Shymoniak, Dawn (Curt) McDowell, nieces and nephews, Gregory (Karie) Szuchy, Sherry (Bob) Burik, Joseph Fecko, Brandon (Kelly) Szuchy, Ronald (Allesandra) Szuchy, Billy Godovchik, Diana Jones, Cathy (John) Hardy, Lisa (Bob) Gould, Bobbi Jo (Eric) Corbin, Laura (Terry) Propst, Rosemary (Dave) Fehir, Janet Szuchy, Mary Ellen (Jeff) Szuchy, and Christine Szuchy, great niece, Kaylie Szuchy, great nephews, Gregory Szuchy, John L. Hardy, and many more nieces and  nephews.  

Nancy’s wishes were to have family only services. Arrangements entrusted to Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC.
