Richard "Hoot J. Gibson

Richard “Hoot” J. Gibson, 77, Harmony Twp., formerly of Atlasburg Pa,  passed away with his family by his side from complications of lung cancer on April 4, 2023.  He was the son of the late Ann Cherok-Hucik. Surviving is his wife of 53 years, Flora Gibson, two children, Dawn Gibson and Clint (Jamie Pagasky) Gibson, and a granddaughter, Quinn Gibson. Richard was a graduate of Burgettstown Highschool. He retired from Climax Molybedenum Company Processing Plant in Langeloth. He was a member of the Burgettstown Fast Pitch softball league for over 20 years. Richard was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. Services are private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services, Ambridge.
