Roger D. McDermott

Roger D. McDermott, 68, of Economy Borough, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 22, 2022. He was the son of the late Clara (Steve) Cukrovany. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Terry McDermott and Donna Sessie. He is survived by his wife of 20 years,  Linda McDermott, Children, Valerie McDermott, Jennifer McDermott, Amanda Bentz, Dana May, Christopher (Ashley) May, siblings, Diana (Joe) Feltes and David (Gaelynn) McDermott, many grandchildren, a great grand child, special friends, Chris (Clara) Arena and Evans (Sue) Matesic. Roger was an extremally hard worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a kind soul who was always willing to help anyone who asked him. He was great teacher to all his grandchildren, but most of all absolutely loved being a grand father and great grandfather.  Visitation will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 4 pm until time of service at 7 pm in the Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, 724-266-2549.
