Sally Ann Casanova

Sally Ann Casanova, 81, of Freedom, formerly of Wilkinsburg, PA, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Gerard Casanova and Florence Casanova-Dougherty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, James W. Dougherty; her brothers, Eugene and James Casanova; and her uncle, Robert L. Schor.

She is survived by her sister, Sandra Casanova, and her longtime friend, Joyce Smith.

Sally dedicated her career to working as a legal secretary and also spent time in the banking industry. Throughout her life, she lived in many places, including California, Portland, Oregon, Honolulu, Hawaii, Delray Beach, Florida, and eventually made her home in Freedom, PA. An active and energetic spirit, Sally enjoyed spending time at the gym and participating in various fitness activities.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Saint Felix Church in Freedom, PA at 10AM to honor her memory.
