Sharon L. Hayes

Sharon L. Hayes, 77, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Irma Warkonyi. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Hayes, and her son, James J. Hayes.

She is survived by her son, Christopher (Angel) Hayes; her brother, Stephen (Marianne) Warkonyi; six cherished grandchildren—Kailey, Sierra, Bethany, Avery, Caleb, and Nyah; four great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Hayes,  nieces Jodi and Jaime; and her beloved companion, John Sprott.

Sharon dedicated over 26 years of service as a unit clerk at Heritage Valley Sewickley. She found joy in watching her favorite cooking channels. Her warm presence and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC.
