Stanley J. Lapinski

Stanley J. Lapinski of Tavares, Florida, formerly of Ambridge, passed away peacefully at his home on October 21, 2025, at the age of 96.

Born in Ambridge on July 16, 1929, he was the son of the late Felix and Selma Lapinski.

Stanley lived a life filled with faith, family and service. He was a Staff Sargent in the Air Force, Chief of Police of Leet Township, and a volunteer fireman. Following his military service, he worked at and retired from Armco. Stanley's favorite pass times were his daily puzzles, golfing, playing pinocle, and cruising with this wife, Ethel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, David; his brothers, Raymond, Casmir; sisters, Laura Regina, Genevive Lee and a granddaughter, Amanda Gartz.

Surviving is his loving wife of 73 years, Ethel Lapinski; son, Richard (Michelle) Lapinski; daughters, Cathy Boyle and Carol Newhouse; grandchildren, Heather Chisolm, Kristy (Brad) Kress, Adam Lapinski, Christopher Lapinski, Nicole Gartz, Rachel Warrington, Brian Boyle; great grandchildren, Alyssa Bombeck, Kaedyn Warrington, SSgt Drake Silberger, Sierra Davis, Pierce Bouterse, Lily and Molly Chislom, Callie Lapinski, Brandon and Jordon Boggs, Joseph and Leo Boyle, William Chisolm, Nathan and Andrew Kress.

Friends will be received from 2:00 PM until time of blessing service at 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2025 in the Alvarez- Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, PA.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Beaver County Humane Society.
