Hello, my name is David M. Alvarez. I grew up in Economy Borough and graduated from Ambridge Area High-school in 1995. I attended Community College of Beaver County graduating with an Associate Degree in Police Technology. I was hired with the Baden Borough Police Department in 1998. In December of 2021 I retired from the police department after 25 years of service attaining the rank of sergeant. Since a young man I have always been interested in the care and compassion funeral directors gave to bereaved families. I decided to attend the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science graduating from the program in 2008. In January of 2021 I purchased the Kasper-Hahn Funeral and Cremation Services , Inc. (formerly Kasper Funeral Home). My life long goal is to provide families with the care, respect, and personalization they deserve.
James D. Hahn

Hello, my name is James D. Hahn. I am a graduate of Avalon High School. I went on to attend Robert Morris College and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science graduating in 1975. I purchased the Kasper Funeral Home in 2007 after long time owner Walter R. Kasper passed away and have been serving the Ambridge Area for over 15 years. I was the five time past president of the Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association, two time president of the Beaver County Funeral Directors Association, and Past President of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association. I was a member of the NFDA policy board, and the past District Governor of Rotary post 7305. I currently reside in Ross Township my wife Marlene. I have four children and 16 grandchildren.
